Meet Simon. The driving force behind M3 Job Club's Got Talent - The Return.
He's been through multiple redundancies over the last ten years, and each time, M3 Job Club has helped him find his way through to a new opportunity.
So when he found himself back there in 2024, Simon did what Simon does. He looked for a way to give something back.
One morning, over coffee, he started asking fellow members what they did when they weren't updating their CVs and applying for jobs. In a single conversation, he discovered he was surrounded by musicians, and that's when he hit upon the idea for M3 Job Club's Got Talent.
Last year the band took to the stage for the first time, raising over £1,500 for M3 Job Club and packing out a hall with people who didn't want the night to end. This year they're back, bigger and better than ever, and with a special story to tell.
"We want to take the audience on a journey, using songs everyone knows to tell the story of what it really feels like to lose your job and find your way back. It's honest, it's fun, and I think it's going to surprise people."
Simon didn't just find his way through redundancy. He turned the experience into something that's brought an entire community together. Come and see what happens when that community decides to celebrate itself.
