Greenspace Group has a table to promote our activities at Mapplewell Summer Gala on Saturday 5th September 11 -3. Any volunteers able to offer support would be most helpful. Litter picking will take place on Mapplewell Park between 9.30 - 10.30 and then 15.00 -15.30.

We had 9 volunteers including two youngsters, helping clear litter around Darton Train Station. 17 bags of litter and assorted items.
Then back to The Wentworth Arms to ensure the youngsters had some chocolate biscuits.(The worst offender was missing today)

Litter Pick on Saturday 9.30 Darton Train Station and around the area. It will be for about 1hr.
Pickers and bags will be available in the Train Station car park Saturday 29th.
Then we will be having a crafty cuppa and chocolate biscuit at our fantastic supporters The Wentworth Arms You may get a biscuit Carl might not make it 😁
Future Dates of Litter Picks we will be doing more gardening throughout the summer, we'll keep you informed.

Our great volunteers picked a massive 30 bags of litter from around Mapplewell and Staincross Village Hall and surrounding areas.
The path from the Village Hall to Spark Lane was particularly bad, and some people have a drink and drugs problems.
Plus we had a great gardening team in The War Memorial and in Mapplewell Park, they do fantastic job.
The The Wentworth Arms provided sufficient biscuits Evan for our local Cllr 😉 (as if) thanks for your great support 💙

As if 🤣

The amazing Greenspace Group are out litter picking in our wonderful village for an hour tomorrow morning at 9.30am. Followed by drinks, chocolate biscuits and a social back here afterwards. The chocolate biscuits are only available if you can get to them before 🍪 𝗖𝗹𝗹𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲 🍪 does 😂☕️🗣️🗑️🚮♻️

A great turnout for Saturday's Litter pick, 14 volunteers picked a massive amount of rubbish, 32 bags and assorted items ☹️
Wentworth Rd was particularly bad ...
Then back to The Wentworth Arms for a welcoming cuppa and a chocolate biscuit or two!!!
