Worsbrough Library Heritage Group Local history research group that meets weekly at Worsbrough Library on a Thursday 10am-1pm. New members welcome.

We research local historical events and their impact on the families involved.

Worsbrough Library Group will be at the Welfare in Worsbrough at 11:00 on Saturday 13th & at Mill on Sunday, There will be a exhibition of the Swaithe Mining Disaster, because on December 6th this year, it will be 150 years since 143 men and boys lost their lives. we hope to be having event at St Thomas on the 29th of November. If you are a family member of any who died we would like to hear from you.
