🌳 A little colour can make a big difference!

It was great to visit Wimpy Park in Alloa and see how the team behind this community-run park has put funding from Alloa Round Table to good use.

They’ve decorated the storage containers and sheds, softening their appearance and helping them feel more at home in the park. It’s a lovely example of how a relatively small project can make a real difference to a shared community space.

👏 Well done to everyone involved in caring for the park and making it a welcoming place for local people.

🤝 Two Tables, one great night!

It was fantastic to welcome Jordan, Chairman of Falkirk Round Table, to Alloa Round Table for our latest business meeting.

With a shared history between our two Tables, there was plenty to talk about! We discussed ideas for future joint events and fundraising activities, swapped stories from events past, and, of course, took the opportunity to get to know each other a little better.

One of the best things about being part of Round Table is the friendships that stretch beyond your own Table. Inter-Table events are always a highlight — bringing people together, creating new memories, and occasionally reminding us that some stories from past events are probably best kept within Round Table! 😂

We’re looking forward to building on the relationship between Alloa and Falkirk Round Tables and hopefully getting some joint events in the diary soon.

🍻 Here’s to friendship, fellowship and plenty more adventures between our Tables!

🍻 Looking for new mates, good laughs and an excuse to get out of the house?

Alloa Round Table is looking for new members (aged 18-45)!

We’re a bunch of local guys who get together, have a laugh, organise some pretty big events like Sparks in the Park and the Alloa Half Marathon, and most importantly, raise money to support great causes across our local community.

No special skills required. No secret handshake. 😂

❤️ What a way to start back after the summer break! ❤️

Last night was our first Alloa Round Table meeting back after the summer, and we couldn’t think of a better way to kick things off than by announcing two donations to two fantastic local causes.

🏃 £1,500 to Wee County Harriers

The Wee County Harriers have a fantastic number of members from across Clackmannanshire and are a real asset to our community. They’re also always a great help to us with the Alloa Half Marathon, so we’re delighted to be able to give something back and support the work they do.

🎁 £5,000 to Love in a Box

This year, Love in a Box will be supporting more than **900 children with gifts** who might otherwise go without. An incredible initiative making a real difference to local children and families at a very special time of the year.

This is exactly what Alloa Round Table is all about.

The money raised through events such as the Alloa Half Marathon and Sparks In The Park - Alloa West End Park Fireworks Display allows us to put funds straight back into our local community and support organisations doing fantastic work right here in Clackmannanshire.

A huge thank you to everyone who attends, supports, volunteers at and sponsors our events.

Family - that’s what it’s all about 💛🖤

A much deserved end of season day out for Alloa Round Table with friends and family at Loch Lomond.

A time for reflection on the hard work put in by our passionate members, and a few hours to kick back with the clans and enjoy some beautiful Scottish scenery. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

No matter who you are, remember why you are doing what you’re doing.

One day these days out will be a memory and you’ll do anything to get them back.

So go on, book the holiday. Enjoy some time with family - you’ve earned it 😌🍻
