It was great to connect with people at today's Person's Pathway session and answer questions about what support is available while waiting for an assessment or reassessment.

Our Person's Pathway is part of our Well Worthwhile Waiting programme, designed to help people understand their options, build confidence, and access useful information during the assessment process. We know that waiting doesn't mean standing still, and these sessions are a chance to learn, ask questions, and start planning for what matters most to you.

If you're awaiting an assessment, going through a re-assessment, or supporting someone who is, you can self-refer and we'll be in touch.

๐Ÿ๐ŸŒผ Bee Friendly - Free Wildflower Seeds Available ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿ

Looking for an accessible way to get involved in your community, connect with nature, and support local wildlife?

Ahead of The Big Help Out 2026, environmental charity Eden Project is giving away 100 free wildflower seed starter packs to people across Scotland.

This could be a great activity for:
๐Ÿ’š People looking to improve their wellbeing through nature
๐Ÿ’š Disabled people who enjoy gardening at home
๐Ÿ’š Unpaid carers looking for a relaxing outdoor activity
๐Ÿ’š Community groups, neighbours and families wanting to make a positive difference locally

You don't need a large garden to get involved. A window box, plant pot, raised bed or small patch of ground can help create valuable habitats for bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

As Eden Project Scotland Manager Grainne McCloskey says:

"Taking part doesnโ€™t need to be complicated. Whether itโ€™s a pot on a windowsill, a corner of a close, a coastal clean-up or shared community space we can all lean in and help out Scottish wildlife to thrive."

๐Ÿ“ง To request a free wildflower seed starter pack, email:
[email protected]

๐Ÿ“Œ Please include SEEDS in the subject line.

A small act can make a big difference - for local wildlife and for our own wellbeing too. ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ

Here's a great opportunity to share your lived experience. ILF Scotland
'Are you aged 16 to 30 and have lived experience of disability?
Join us as a Peer Researcher!
ILF Scotland and Social Value Lab are looking for eight young disabled people to join a peer research team exploring experiences of the Transition Fund. Peer Researchers will help shape questions, speak to other young people about their experiences, and help make sense of the data we collect. No previous research experience is needed and full training and support will be provided.
You donโ€™t need to have received a grant from the Transition Fund โ€“ or meet its eligibility criteria โ€“ to apply and take part.
The role is flexible and designed around peopleโ€™s needs and other commitments, with most activities able to take place online. You will join us for seven days in total between June and October 2026. Each researcher will receive ยฃ180 per day, with travel, access costs, childcare, and other reasonable expenses covered.
To express interest, contact Anna at [email protected] by 5pm on Monday 8th June 2026. You can send a short informal email explaining a little about yourself and why you are interested or get in touch to arrange an informal conversation.'
