The sun was shining last Friday, and so were our Spark participants! 🎨✨

Across our September and October sessions, 12 participants have been exploring their creativity, learning new skills and building confidence in a welcoming, supportive space.

From overcoming the anxiety of attending to completing first-ever canvas paintings, participants celebrated creative and personal milestones, grew in confidence and rediscovered their creative spark.

As one participant put it: “You’ve gave me my bug back, I’m going home to draw!”

💚 World Mental Health Day

We’re proud to highlight the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival and our involvement in The Fabric of Us, which we will be unveiling soon.

The Fabric of Us is a collaborative textile and creative writing project inspired by the confessional, text-based fabric works of Tracey Emin. Participants will explore personal memories, lived experiences, identity, relationships and collective narratives to form the basis of a large-scale appliqué textile artwork, with words, phrases and poetic fragments stitched into a shared fabric backdrop alongside swatches of cloth carrying personal and social histories.

Every story matters. Every connection counts. And together, we can help create a world where mental health is spoken about openly, creativity is valued, and everyone feels they belong.
