We have published our response to the Scottish Government's Programme for Government 2026-31.

We are deeply disappointed that the Learning Disabilities, Autism & Neurodivergence (LDAN) Bill is no longer being taken forward by the Scottish Government.

The Bill was developed following extensive engagement with autistic people, people with learning disabilities, neurodivergent people, families and organisations across Scotland. After years of consultation and contribution, the decision not to progress the legislation is both disheartening and raises important questions about accountability and trust.

While the Programme for Government includes commitments that could improve support for autistic people and their families, including action on additional support needs, social care reform and more person-led public services, we remain concerned that the loss of the LDAN Bill leaves a significant gap.

Did you know our Advice Line provides free, confidential support to people across Scotland?

Today, one of our Community Advisors, Caroline, met with the Women Integration Network in Glasgow to share information about our Advice Line, explain the support available and answer questions from attendees.

Community conversations like these are an important way of ensuring people know where to turn for trusted advice and support.

Thank you to the Women's Integration Network for the warm welcome and engaging discussion.

Dundee community rallies for Scottish Autism 💙

We'd like to say a huge thank you to our incredible supporter, Leighton McKee Fitness for hosting a recent fun day at ESPC Dundee. With the support of his community, Leighton managed to raise an incredible £6,552 to help enhance and develop autism support services.

Inspired by George, someone we support in our Tayside services and Leighton coaches, Leighton wanted to give back to a community close to his heart.

He told us, “Having the immense privilege of coaching autistic people in my work, I wanted to do something more for a community that’s inspired me to do better.”

After months of planning, Leighton was overwhelmed by the support from everyone who attended, donated and took part.

The success of the event is a testament to the generosity and community spirit of everyone involved. Thank you to all who supported the fun day, donated and attended. We are so looking forward to where this support takes us next Leighton 👏

👏 Erin and Tayside team smash the Dundee Kiltwalk

Today we are celebrating Erin, who recently took on the Dundee Kiltwalk alongside her dedicated Tayside support team, raising an incredible £540 so far!

Rainha, Autism Practitioner, shared, "Erin was full of smiles, enjoying a biscuit before starting. She gave her staff plenty of thumbs up and smiles to let us know she was happy. Erin seemed very determined to make it to the finish line and was over the moon with her medal at the end. She was also ecstatic to see her biggest fan, her mum, waiting at the finish line with her gran and brother."

Events like the Kiltwalk are about so much more than fundraising...they help build confidence, create memorable experiences and celebrate what can be achieved with the right support and encouragement. Thank you to Erin and her wonderful team for their determination!

With just one week to go until our annual Golf Day, held in partnership with SG Pro Cleaning, we would like to recognise three valued partners supporting this year's event:

OCS – Breakfast Partner
Ochil Fudge – Lunch Partner
PBR Building Services – Prize Partner (Nearest the Pin)

Support from businesses through gifts in kind and donations help to reduce event costs and ensures that more funds raised can be directed where it's needed most. This year, proceeds from the golf day will support our Art Opportunities service in Clackmannanshire.

By partnering with charity events such as this, businesses can create lasting social impact, helping to strengthen communities and support life-changing services.

A sincere thank you to all of our supporters helping to drive positive change both on and off the course!
