Forth Valley Mens Shed & Alloa Community Shed Forth Valley Mens' Shed became a registered charitable organization in 2018. We also have an open door policy and visitors are always welcome.

A charitable organisation centred around improving the mental wellbeing of it's members and community at grassroots level through recreational activity and projects. Although our inception as a charity was for a safe space for men, and still is, we are an open and welcoming organization to all genders. Our purpose is to provide a safe and comfortable space for locals to undertake creative, physica

l, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice in order to reduce the isolation faced by people in the area and ultimately to improve the social, physical and mental wellbeing of the community by developing a space that people can share their skills and knowledge with one another to benefit each other and the community. You can pop in for a chat or cup of tea to just find some space and sense of community. We are here for you and we are always listening.

🚨 Can You Help Us? 🚨

Alloa Community Shed (part of the Forth Valley Men’s Shed network) is moving into new premises at Marshill House, Alloa 🎉

To make the most of our new home, we’re looking for a second-hand 20ft storage container 🛠️ We don’t need brand new — we’re more than happy to refurbish and repaint one ourselves.

If you or your company have an old container you could donate, discount, or point us towards, it would make a huge difference in helping us get up and running.

We are delighted to share that Forth Valley Men’s Shed will soon be moving into new premises at Marshill House, Alloa (FK10 1AB). With this exciting step, we are also expanding into a new identity:

What does this mean?

✅ The Men’s Shed is still at the heart of what we do — a place for friendship, skills, and support.

✅ Our new Alloa Community Shed identity reflects our growth, welcoming everyone in the community — men and women, young and old.

In Memory of Nathan Jack

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the family and friends of Nathan Jack, who so sadly passed away recently. In the midst of their grief, they made the incredibly thoughtful and generous decision to donate the collection from Nathan’s funeral to Forth Valley Men’s Shed.

This kind donation will help support the work we do to provide a safe and welcoming space for connection, purpose, and wellbeing. We are truly honoured to receive this in Nathan’s memory.

Our thoughts are with Nathan’s loved ones at this very difficult time, and we hope they find some comfort in knowing that his legacy will help others.
