🌟PUBLIC TOILETS COMING TO GARTMORN DAM🌟

Dam Good Coffee plan to install a new Changing Places Toilet as well as accessible public toilets at Gartmorn Dam.

With support from Scottish Government’s Changing Places Toilet Scotland Fund, this will help to provide fully accessible facilities for people with complex care needs and their families. These toilets will make a real difference enabling more people to enjoy Gartmorn Dam and travel with dignity.

Dam Good Coffee are taking this opportunity to expand a public toilet provision and help secure an extension and remodelling to their building.

Elizabeth Anderson said “we are so pleased to be providing these facilities. Gartmorn Dam is a lovely place for all to spend time and enjoy our fantastic facilities. With these new public toilets we hope this will encourage more to visit.”

Dam Good Coffee serves Breakfasts, Light Lunches, Home Baking and dam good coffee! It is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10 to 4pm.

This project is the first step in a wider plan for development of the Gartmorn Dam and Country Park and it is hoped that a range of additional facilities such as children’s play area, outdoor activities, birdwatching facilities, improved signage and many more will be introduced over the next couple of years. To find out more about this plan, Gartmorn Dam Country Park Development Plan.
