Building a new facility is a big undertaking, and like many new buildings, there can be adjustments and fine-tuning as systems are commissioned, tested, and brought into balance. What matters most is working through those adjustments and ensuring the facility delivers the experience our community deserves.

We’re happy to share some good news! Thanks to the dedication of our team and some incredible local expertise, we’re pleased to report that our pool temperatures are right where we hoped they would be:

🏊 Lap Pool: 28°C
💦 Leisure Pool: 30°C

We know how important a comfortable swimming experience is for everyone who uses the facility, from lane swimmers and aquafit participants to families enjoying time together in the leisure pool. We’re committed to continuing to monitor our systems and make adjustments as needed.

The HudBay Aquatic Centre represents a significant investment in the health, recreation, and quality of life of our community. We’re proud to have this facility in Flin Flon and grateful to everyone whose hard work, expertise, and support helped bring it to life.

Thank you to our residents for your patience as we continue to fine-tune the facility and settle into this exciting new chapter for recreation in Flin Flon.

We look forward to seeing you at the pool! 💙
