The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba’s renewal period opened today, October 1, 2026. All pharmacy professionals and pharmacies are responsible for renewing at this time and must be completed by November 15 deadline otherwise late fee will apply. Please read the Renewal Guide included in the initial notice to assist you with the online process. Please direct any questions about the renewal process to [email protected].

Please be aware that the CPhM Office is closed today, Wednesday, September 30, for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, October 1 at 8:30 a.m.

CPhM encourages all pharmacy professionals to take this day to reflect on the health inequities faced by Indigenous patients and explore how we can integrate Indigenous-led healing practices into pharmacy care.

Tomorrow is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

It is a time to honour Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and reflect on the ongoing impacts of colonialism and systemic racism on Indigenous Peoples in Canada.

As a regulator, CPhM is focusing on reviewing the impact of pharmacy practices on health outcome gaps for Indigenous patients. This commitment involves recognizing and addressing structural and systemic inequities, supporting research, and promoting practice styles and health programs designed to close these gaps.

CPhM encourages all pharmacy professionals to reflect on the health disparities Indigenous patients continue to face, and to consider how culturally safe, trauma-informed, and Indigenous-led practices can be meaningfully integrated into pharmacy care.
