Provencher BIZ The BIZ represents the individual business owners’ interests along with long term goals that will benefit all businesses and residents in the area.

The Provencher Blvd. Biz is an association of business owners who join together to promote Provencher and the surrounding area. Our mutual goal is to develop the city’s sole grand boulevard into a prosperous economic site. Funding for the BIZ is received from the city in the form of a partial rebate of the membership’s business tax. There are guidelines that dictate how the funds may be used and our board chooses to focus on street beautification and marketing. Having input into these cooperative efforts is key to developing a more attractive physical environment and a more successful business area. Some initiatives that you may recognize include (but are not limited to): hanging flower baskets, planters, building lights and Christmas trees, bicycle racks, recycling bins, movies in the park, the Green Team, the Farmers Market and Mecredis en musique.

In 2025, the Provencher Blvd. BIZ Board took on a project to add some colour, character and local pride to the street with sustainable, long-lasting metal banners celebrating our community. Phase 1 is officially complete, stretching from Taché to St. Jean Baptiste!

A huge shoutout to Prairie Poles for bringing the vision to life with the creation and installation of the banners, and to Bounce Design for their adaptability, creativity and fabulous artwork.

Most importantly, this project is about supporting local businesses and making Provencher a place worth exploring. So the next time you’re on the boulevard, take a walk, and look up! You never know what you might spot.

En 2025, le conseil d'administration de la BIZ du boulevard Provencher a lancé un projet visant à insuffler de la couleur, du caractère et un sentiment de fierté locale à la rue grâce à des bannières métalliques durables célébrant notre communauté. La première phase, qui s'étend de l'avenue Taché à la rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, est officiellement terminée !

Un grand merci à Prairie Poles pour avoir concrétisé cette vision en assurant la création et l'installation des bannières, ainsi qu'à Bounce Design pour sa capacité d'adaptation, sa créativité et ses superbes créations graphiques.

Avant tout, ce projet vise à soutenir les entreprises locales et à faire du boulevard Provencher un lieu qui mérite d'être découvert. Alors, la prochaine fois que vous vous y rendrez, promenez-vous et levez les yeux ! Vous ne savez jamais ce que vous pourriez y découvrir.
