🐾 Meet Callie – Your New Best Friend! 🐾

Located in Victoria, BC, Callie is an adorable 1-year-old Chihuahua cross weighing just 9 lbs. of pure sweetness. This cream-coloured cutie is a perfect mix of cuddly companion and playful adventurer.

Callie loves curling up on your lap for snuggles and is a champion napper, but she also has a fun, puppyish side. Whether she’s zooming around the backyard, chasing lizards, or playing with her foster siblings, Callie knows how to make the most of life.

She is a generally quiet little girl who enjoys car rides, short daily walks, and spending time with her people. While she can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar dogs, treats and patience quickly help her warm up. Once she knows you, Callie becomes a playful, affectionate love bug who loves being close to her humans.

Callie would thrive in a calm, quieter home where she can continue building her confidence. She gets along with her small and medium-sized foster siblings but would likely be happiest with a dog her own size or as the center of attention in a loving home. She has not been tested with cats or small children.

✅ Can be left alone for short periods
✅ Good in the car
✅ Working hard on her leash manners

For a minimum $20 donation, your pup can get a nail trim while helping support local animal rescues in our community. Every dollar raised stays local and goes directly toward helping animals in need 🐾❤️

Meet Ollie 💛

We truly can’t understand how this sweet little guy hasn’t had any interest yet.

Ollie is approximately 4 years old and only 18 pounds. He came to the rescue from Mexico last summer, incredibly shy with people but absolutely in love with other dogs. Watching him slowly learn to trust has been such a special thing, and now he’s become one of our favourite little companions.

While Ollie can still be a bit timid when meeting new people, once he feels safe, he just wants to be close to you. He loves cuddles and being held — and if you put him down, he’ll quickly ask to be picked right back up again. 🥹

Because he was shy, Ollie kept getting overlooked before coming to us, but we know his perfect match is out there. He doesn’t need someone perfect — just someone patient, kind, and willing to let him blossom at his own pace. And once he does? You’ll have the sweetest little shadow by your side. 🐾💕

Balto’s story didn’t start easy—he, his mom, and his six siblings were rescued after being abandoned in a dumpster. Despite that rough beginning, Balto hasn’t let it dim his spirit one bit.

Now 10 weeks old, he’s thriving—happy, curious, and learning something new every single day. He’s incredibly sweet and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend.

Balto is more than ready to find his forever family. 🐾

🐾 Why has no one scooped up sweet Ollie yet? 🥺 🐾

We genuinely can’t figure it out… because Ollie is such a special little guy 💛

Ollie is a ~4-year-old male Chihuahua cross (maybe a chi-weenie!) who is fully vaccinated, neutered, and completely ready to head to his forever home 🏡

From the moment he arrived in foster care, Ollie settled in like he’d always been there. He bonds quickly with his person and loves staying close by your side 🐾 When he’s feeling sleepy, he’ll gently rest his head on your arm… and honestly, it melts you every single time 🥹

He’s got the cutest little “old man” stance, loves belly rubs, and carries such a calm, gentle energy. Ollie is eating well, sleeping through the night 🌙, and absolutely loves his walks — even longer walks and hikes are no problem for this little guy!

✨ About Ollie:
• 🐶 Good with other dogs — may be a little nervous at first, but does a quick sniff and carries on
• 🍽️ Can show mild resource guarding (food and his favorite human), so just needs a bit of awareness
• 🏡 A bit reserved with new people, but once he bonds, he is incredibly loyal and loving
• 🐾 About 90% housetrained (occasional marking at first)
• 🛏️ Sleeps quietly through the night
• 🐕‍🦺 Walks nicely on leash
• 🐱 Cats unknown
• 👶 Kids could be okay with proper introductions and supervision

💫 His perfect home?
A calm, loving environment with someone who wants a devoted little shadow and snuggle buddy. Ollie will happily keep you company, follow you from room to room, and soak up all the love you’re willing to give 💕

Seriously… how has this sweet boy had no interest yet? 🥺 He’s just waiting for someone to see how amazing he is.
