An EFC-supported conference and two evenings filled with good music coming up in Toronto!

For generations, music has helped Estonians far from home preserve their language, share their stories and stay connected.

On November 6–7, VEMU’s Accompanied by Song – Olaf Kopvillem 100 conference and concerts will celebrate the centenary of beloved Estonian-Canadian musician and community leader Olaf Kopvillem—and the rich musical heritage of Estonians abroad. Researchers and musicians from Canada, Estonia and Australia will come together to explore that history, share memories and make new ones through music.

Thank you to the Estonian Foundation of Canada - Eesti Sihtkapital Kanadas for helping make this gathering possible. 💙

Donations to EFC help sustain Estonian culture, heritage, language and education in Canada, including programs like ours. Please consider giving so that future generations can continue to discover, celebrate and contribute to this living heritage.
