We’re in the homestretch—our veidi veel moment—as we prepare to welcome KESKUS to the world! ✨

From August 20–23, Estonians from across the diaspora—and new friends discovering Estonian culture—will come together in Toronto for KESKfEST: four days of music, culture, history, design, celebration and connection.

Day 1 is packed from morning until late, beginning with a celebration of the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Estonia’s de facto independence and an exclusive Veidi veel unveiling. The day continues with KESKUS and Annex tours, world-class choral performances, theatre, design, and a late-night Salakõrts featuring Le Brünk.

Tule ja koge Eesti laulu, tantsu ja liikumise väge!✨

Join us for Valguspidu “Läbi päeva ja öö”, a celebration of Estonian culture bringing together 300 singers and more than 300 dancers and gymnasts for one afternoon of spectacular performances.

The concert will feature a special performance of “Läbi päeva ja öö” (“Through Day and Night”) sung by Leiki Kopvillem & Keila Kopvillem on vocals and accompanied by Aarne Tork on guitar. It is a song about resilience, hope, and the enduring sense of identity Estonians carry with them. We will also be joined by renowned mezzo-soprano Kristina Agur and reunited folk-band Ukulele.

Through choral music, folk dance, and movement, the performers will fill the Mattamy Athletic Centre with the beauty, energy, and shared spirit of Estonia.
