Esimese kandilise juubelini jõudnud Estonian Arts Centre'i "Nou Pois Äläud" naiste, neidude ja laste tantsulaager lõpetas vägeva etendusega - loe ja vaata ka! /// The fifth "Nou Pois Äläud" presented by Estonian Arts Centre ended with a flourish, thanks to the patient and skilled instructors Agne Kurrikoff-Herman, Marika Järvet & Ave Anslan, and thanks to Estonian Students' Fund in USA, Estonian Foundation of Canada - Eesti Sihtkapital Kanadas. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes montage as local KESKfEST volunteers took turns snipping off the zip ties to bring down the banners at the festival gates.

We tackled everything from AI and national security—anchored by a live recording of The Paikin Podcast with Steve Paikin and Estonia’s Minister of Education, Dr. Kristina Kallas—to zero-waste fashion with Dr. R**t Aus, the geopolitical realities shaping our art, and exploring identity-driven architecture with Elsa Lam of Canadian Architect.

Most importantly, we saw a new generation ready to say “Meie kord!” (our turn) and lead our global community into the future.

Registration is open for NPÄ-V, our women's folk dance camp taking place Sept 18–20 at Jõekääru (Udora, ON). Presented by Estonian Arts Centre.

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or wanting to try folk dance for the very first time—no experience required!

Join us for a weekend of dancing, heritage & incredible community as we celebrate our 5th anniversary.

Last weekend in Toronto, the theme of Valguspidu (Celebration of Light) became a shared soundtrack for the global Estonian diaspora. 🇪🇪✨

"Läbi päeva ja öö" was written by the late Peeter Kopvillem to capture a very specific feeling: the yearning, the hope, and the deep love of being Estonian, no matter where in the world you live.

Ten years after his passing, his daughters Keila and Leiki carried on his beautiful legacy. Performing live for an audience of over 1,500 at KESKfEST, they shared his music—and that undeniable connection—with a new generation.
