Building the Sweat Lodge 🌿🔥
A special thank you to everyone who came together to help build a sweat lodge with us.
With the guidance and leadership of our Cultural & Healing Support Manager, Mark Carpenter, community members came together to build this important space for cultural connection, healing, and ceremony.
From gathering materials and preparing the space to working together on the lodge itself, it was a meaningful day of learning, sharing, and community.
A special shout-out to Turtle Island Carers of Fire for their support and for helping with this important work.
Chi-miigwetch to Mark, Turtle Island Carers of Fire, and to everyone who came out, lent a hand, and helped make this possible. ❤️
We are grateful for the time, knowledge, and care that went into creating this space for our community.
