Every Number Tells a Story.

At LIGHTS, every number represents a person, a family, and a journey toward greater independence.

As of March 31, 2026:

🌟 113 individuals supported in reaching their goal of independent living

🤝 109 families actively engaged with LIGHTS

🏡 61 families who have successfully transitioned from LIGHTS support

💜 638 families provided with advisory services

Behind every number is a story of growth, connection, and possibility. We are proud to support individuals and families as they build confidence, independence, and meaningful community connections.

On May 14, LIGHTS Toronto is proud to stand alongside the Moose Hide Campaign, a national, Indigenous-led movement committed to ending violence against women and children.

At LIGHTS, we believe in building a city where everyone feels safe, valued, included, and connected. Supporting Indigenous-led initiatives like the Moose Hide Campaign is an important part of creating stronger communities rooted in respect, equity, and human rights.

We encourage our community to take part by learning more about the campaign, attending Campaign Day at Queen’s Park or tuning into the live stream, wearing a Moose Hide Campaign pin, or sharing a photo to help raise awareness and spark meaningful conversations.

to Community Rocks 🎸

A few months ago, some of our LIGHTS Leaders had a blast at Community Rocks — Community Living Toronto’s major fundraising event.

It was an amazing night celebrating inclusion, community, and possibility. We were proud to be there, especially knowing that a portion of the funds raised support LIGHTS families directly.

We are already looking forward to !
