A student of Dalhousie University is conducting a study exploring how smartphone use may impact relationship satisfaction in LGBTQ+ couples.

To participate, both partners must:
- Identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community
- Own a smartphone
- Be currently in a romantic relationship
- Be 18 years or older

Participation involves completing an online questionnaire that takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.

A 20$ Amazon gift card will be provided to both partners once the surveys are completed!

Pride month celebrations have kicked off across Newfoundland and Labrador.

Quadrangle NL is proud to have been in attendance for both the Pride Flag Raising Ceremonies at Confederation Building on June 1st and the Town of Chapel Arm flag raising on June 2nd.

A special thanks to the town staff and residents of Chapel Arm for giving Quadrangle NL's executive director C**t Politte the honour of raising the Pride flag.

It gives us great joy to stand with our community in celebration.

International Pride Month is celebrated each year in the month of June to honour the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising started by BIPOC Trans community members was a tipping point for the 2SLGBTQIA+ Movement. The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally.

Pride festivals take place throughout the globe at different times during the year and are meant to be moments to celebrate, reflect, and continue to push for change.

Please think about donating to 2SLGBTQIA+ serving and supportive organizations during International Pride Month. If you’d like to donate to us you can in a number of ways, donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt!

1) Canada Helps (you will get a direct tax receipt e-mailed to you from this service) at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/57013

2) E-transfer to [email protected] (if you use this method, please email us letting us know your name and address so we can issue a tax receipt)
