GAMES ROOM HIGHLIGHTS!

Avalon Expo opens tomorrow!!

Cardhallah: help ilus build the biggest card house village we've ever seen! Sunday at 4pm bring coins and toss them at the card houses to knock them down!

Video Game tournaments:
We are shaking it up this time! We heard the feedback, and we are trying something new. Flash tournaments, one hour each. Winner gets a prize.

High score challenges: different one each day! Winner gets a prize.

Photo booth: 8bit backdrop/selfie station available all weekend (ask our volunteers to take your group photo!)

Meetups: scheduled times to gather in the games room for specific things (casual). You can also schedule your own meetups at the SBG table!

★ Learn to play Kingdoms TCG in the vendors room with Kingdoms TCG
★ Fae Games Indie TTRPGs (Saturday only, 10a-4pm)

★ 12pm-2pm Street Pass Meetup (Community suggested games to bring: Animal Crossing New leaf, Tomodachi life, Nintendog's, Pokemon, Mii Trading)

★ 5pm Smash Bros hour (flash tournament)

SUNDAY:
★ High Score Challenge: Suika Game
★ 11am Smash Bros hour (flash tournament)
★ 12pm-2pm Street Pass Meetup (Community suggested games to bring: Animal Crossing New leaf, Tomodachi life, Nintendog's, Pokemon, Mii Trading)
★ 3pm Smash Bros hour (flash tournament)
★ 4pm DESTROY CARDHALLAH

The games room also features Newfoundlands largest boardgames library, puzzles, videogame setups, Beat Sabre VR (casual play), a devices charging station (do not leave devices unattended!), AND a bunch of open play space for you to arrange your own games (ask us about our looking for group signs!), trade cards, play handhelds, and just relaxing!

Our last two games of the marathon!

3:30pm-6:30pm join us for BOLTGUN. This is Warhammer 40k but as a first-person shooter! Load up your Boltgun and unleash the awesome Space Marine arsenal to blast your way through an explosion of sprites, pixels and blood.

FINALE:
Our last game of the marathon is a wildly popular party game. You know it, you love it.

6:30pm-8pm JACKBOX GAMES! Our volunteers will be playing an assortment of party games, many of which allow audience participation! Please join in and play with us by voting for your favorite things. GOOD MORNING GAMERS!

7am-10am: Wake up its time to do math and solve crime! MURDER BY NUMBERS is a visual novel video game that combines Picross and a murder mystery. The game follows TV actress-turned-detective Honor Mizrahi and her robot companion SCOUT as they find themselves involved in several murder cases.

10am-12pm: Sunday morning means its word puzzle time! WORDATRO! is a simple roguelite word game that challenges both your linguistic and strategic thinking. Build words using a limited pool of letters, with each letter carrying a unique point value. Know obscure words? Help is welcome in the chat!

12pm-2pm: At high noon we start A HIGHLAND SONG. A wild adventure through the Scottish Highlands, with open platforming and dynamic storytelling, maps and music. Moira McKinnon is running away. To reach the sea, Moira must first cross the wilderness of paths, peaks, shortcuts, dangers, and song.

2pm-3:30pm: MAKE WAY for a classic, top-down, multiplayer racing game shifted up multiple gears. Speed around loops, dart through train crossings, drift around helter skelters, and unleash wacky weaponry in this modern take on classic multiplayer racing game!

Its Spooky time! Welcome to the overnight shift!!

9pm-11pm: LAST REPORT. Ever fancy a job in park management? What if you were a Park Ranger on the night shift, responsible to report on all the strange goings on in a park riddled with supernatural creatures? Uncover the terrifying secret of Among Green Trees National Park. And maybe don't look out that window.

11pm-2am: If the idea of being alone at night in the woods is too scary, try PHASMAPHOBIA. In this game you investigate suburban homes with our team of ghost hunters. What kind of ghost are you hunting? That's for you to find out. Just be careful, not all ghosts take kindly to the living.

2am-4am: Its time to switch gears to DIRT RALLY 2. Join our sleep deprived volunteers for one of the best off-road racing simulators ever made! Players compete in timed stage events on tarmac and off-road terrain in varying weather conditions. The game features stages in Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Spain and the United States. Where would YOU like to go?

4am-7am: It's puzzlin' time! We have four indie puzzle games to show off in our PUZZLE BLOCK. Baba is You, Is this Seat Taken?, NightSky, and Closure. What a better time to test your problem solving skills than at 4am!

4am too early? (or too late?) no problem! We have more puzzle games coming up after this so stay tuned Gamers!
