🦋 Wings of Hope: A Legacy of Love, Remembrance & Support 💗💙

Some of the most meaningful projects begin with a family's love and a desire to bring comfort to others.

Since 2019, the Baby Lauryn Elizabeth Project has supported families across the Burin Peninsula experiencing pregnancy and infant loss, ensuring they are met with compassion, dignity and meaningful support.

Today, we're honoured to share this special photo of Lauryn's family - her parents, Victoria and Justin Bolt, her sister Kailey, and her brother Owen - standing together in front of the beautiful Springtime of Life mural at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre.

From the very beginning, the Bolt family has been an important part of this project, helping to keep Lauryn's memory alive while bringing hope and comfort to other families. We are deeply grateful for their continued involvement and for sharing Lauryn's legacy with our communities. 💕

Through our annual Wings of Hope campaign, the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation continues to purchase Infant Loss Kits and Angel Gowns for the BPHCC, providing families with comfort, dignity and opportunities to create precious memories with their babies.

We also want families to know that they are not alone. NL Health Services offers grief counselling and emotional support through its Children's & Women's Health Program and Pastoral Care & Ethics. Information about these services and how to access support can be found in our Wings of Hope brochures, or on our website.

As we recognize Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month this October, we hope to raise awareness, encourage conversations and remind families that their babies are remembered and support is available.

🦋 Our 6th Annual Wings of Hope butterflies are available for $20 each, with proceeds supporting local families experiencing loss.
