For Outflow Ministry, this has been a couple of years of hard work bringing this unique 6-unit housing build to where it is today. These six units are designed to support short-term stays, ranging from four to six months. Upon completing their treatment, patients will either transition to planned permanent housing or be offered support at a local shelter if necessary.
At Outflow Ministry, we seek every opportunity to reduce unemployment, hunger, homelessness, and medical costs in our city. By focusing on health equity, we aim to ensure that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. Our mission is not just to provide immediate relief, but to foster long-term, sustainable change for the most vulnerable members of our community. This initiative represents an innovative and impactful way for us to deliver on that mission. We are so grateful for the partnership with Horizon Health Network (Horizon), the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation and Canada East Spine Centre and the support of our community at large.
