Here's a throw back to just 24 days ago when we gathered early in the morning at the beautiful Saint John City Market for the CBC Live Broadcast of Information Morning Saint John in support of the Harbour Lights Campaign 2025. Mayor & Council held their traditional breakfast in support of the Campaign and the Harbour Lights Board was on hand for the annual mug sale and to take donations for the 16 food banks we support.

This annual holiday tradition gives us the 'feels' every year.

Campaign update as of today is $379,764 and will continue to accept donations until the end of January before distributing to the food banks.

We are so appreciative and overwhelmed by the support of the community!

Happy New Year!

We've tallied donations received to date and our new total as of yesterday was $377,943!

Thank you to all for this generosity.

We'll continue to process donations towards the 2025 Campaign for a few more weeks as we prepare to distribute these funds to the 16 food banks we support across Southwestern NB.

With a few days of giving left before the 2025 income tax receipt deadline (December 31 at midnight), we are now at a total raised this year of $363,140.

We are approaching our record breaking total from 2024 and are extremely grateful for the generosity of the community in our region. ❤️

May everyone have a safe and happy Christmas, the Harbour Lights elves are taking a few days to relax and enjoy our families but we are happy to share that we've now reached $353,585 with some significant donations in the last few days. 🎄🎅🏻

We continued to receive generous donations through the weekend, after the big event at the City Market Friday morning, and our fundraising total for food banks across the region now sits at $315,168. 🙏

We will continue to keep counting into the New Year. 😊

Good Fibrations at 90 Germain Street will be open Tuesday, December 23 as an in person donation point and other donation options are listed on our website https://www.harbourlightssj.ca/donate.

Today, we witnessed the power of community at Saint John City Market with the CBC Radio One Information Morning team, Mayor and Council, the City Market merchants, and all who attended (or listened to the live broadcast)!

We're overjoyed to announce that after the final tally at the Market and the online contributions received overnight, we've reached a total of $302,555! 🎉

These funds will be a beacon of hope for those in need at food banks across the region during the long winter months.

Although our in-person events have come to a close for this year, you can still spread love and kindness by donating in person at Good Fibrations at 90 Germain Street on Saturday, Monday, and until Tuesday at 5 pm.

*The Mayor & Council's Annual Breakfast @ North Market Seafood from 6 am - 9 am (all proceeds to Harbour Lights)
* The annual Harbour Lights mug sale starting at 6 am and while quantities last ($55/each and 1 per person)
* Live auction for an opportunity to join Port Saint John on an inaugural call of one of the cruise ships next Fall; and

Thank you to Matt Matt Andersen for a great concert at Brunswick Square yesterday which contributed $28,000 to Harbour Lights fundraising efforts for 16 food banks in south western New Brunswick!

Saint John! What a day. Thanks for singing with and myself.

We raised $28000 this afternoon. Y'all are amazing.

Off to Fredericton tomorrow..

Music starts at noon in the Kings Place Mall. There will be folks on hand to take your cash and non perishable food donations.
