We are a non-profit, non-government corporation, first registered with the Department of Consumer and Corporate Affairs in 1976. We are active members of Sask Sport Incorporated, a non-profit, non-government federation of provincial sport governing bodies, and also Tennis Canada, the body governing the sport of tennis in Canada.

Congratulations to our juniors Karina Berska and Isabella Yan on their outstanding ITF tournament victories!

🌟 Karina Berska earned the Girls’ Singles Title at the ITF J60 Halifax Tournament, also held May 11–16. Karina’s impressive performance and competitive spirit led her to a well-deserved tournament victory.

🌟 Isabella Yan captured the Girls’ Singles Title at the ITF J100 Punta Cana Tournament in the Dominican Republic, held May 11–16. Bella showcased exceptional skill, determination, and resilience throughout the week to claim the championship against a strong international field.

These remarkable achievements reflect the hard work and dedication of both athletes. We are proud to see Karina and Bella representing Tennis Saskatchewan with excellence on the national and international stage. We look forward to watching your continued success. 🇨🇦

2026 Lakeshore Spring Doubles Tournament of Hope

Join us May 15-17 at Lakeshore Tennis Club in Regina for a weekend of competitive tennis, community, and purpose.

This sanctioned Tennis Saskatchewan event features Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, and Junior Doubles, and supports an important cause, with proceeds going to InPOWER, helping Regina’s breast cancer community. 💗

Event Highlights:
• Adult & Junior Doubles competition
• Open to a range of skill levels (based on World Tennis Number)
• Great prizes up for grabs through random draws, including racquets & bags
• A fun, meaningful tournament experience for all participants

Location: Lakeshore Tennis Club (Southside of the Legislative Building)
Dates: May 15–17, 2026
Registration Deadline: May 8 at 11:59 p.m.

Community Development Coordinator

Tennis Saskatchewan is the Provincial Sport Governing Body responsible for the promotion and development of tennis throughout the Province. Applications for seasonal full-time (May to August – 37.5 hours / week) Rogers First Set – Community Development Coordinator will be accepted up to and including May 10, 2026. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours, as evening, early morning, and weekend work will be involved.
 
Rogers First Set is designed to inspire youth and families in communities across Canada to try tennisand learn fundamental tennis skills in a fun, welcoming, safe and positive environment. The long-term goal of Rogers First Set is to grow participation in tennis in Saskatchewan and Canada exponentially over the next five years.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
 
Lead, facilitate, and work with all partners to deliver learn to play programs.
 
• Work with other Saskatchewan based tennisorganizations / agencies in the coordination and delivery of programs and services.

• Sanctioned Tournament Administration.  Help plan, coordinate, manage recreational and competitive tournaments as required (Rookie tour, U9 / U10 Rising Stars orange and green ball, and competitive tournaments).

• NCCP Coaching and Officials Development administration.

• Complete all monitoring, evaluations, and reports as required.

• Salary will commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience.

We are proud to also recognize Karina Berska for her great performance at the U18 Fischer Indoor Junior National Championships, held March 28 – April 4 in Toronto, Ontario.

Karina competed at a high level throughout the tournament and earned a strong finish as the Consolation Finalist which is a great achievement on the national stage.

She is pictured alongside coach Marek Nehasil, as well as George Fischer, the major sponsor of all Junior National Championships.

Isabella Yan Completes the National Championships Sweep

At just 14 years old, Isabella Yan has achieved something extraordinary.

Competing at the U18 Fischer Indoor National Championships in Toronto, Bella delivered a remarkable performance, capturing the U18 National Championship title and completed a rare sweep of singles National Championships across the U12, U14, U16, and now U18 age groups.

This milestone reflects years of dedication, resilience, and a deep love for the game. From early mornings on court to high-pressure match moments, Bella’s journey is a testament to what steady commitment and belief can achieve.

Tennis Saskatchewan is incredibly proud of Isabella and all that she represents for our province and the future of Canadian tennis.

Team Prairies competes at Indoor Nationals

The 2026 U18 and U14 Indoor National Championships have wrapped up, with our U14 athletes competing in Vancouver, BC, and our U18 team taking the courts in Toronto, ON.

The 2026 U16 and U12 Indoor National Championships have begun, with our U12 athletes competing in Calgary, Alberta, and our U16 team taking the courts in Montreal, Quebec.
