Soft Paws is in the middle of revamping. All the cats that were in the main housing had to be temporarily relocated to accommodate the deep clean and painting of their area. With no foster homes available our friends at Bosleys on Tabor stepped up and agreed the rescue could house some of the cats in their vacant cat room. This is a short term arrangement and once the area in the permanent housing is fume free all the cats will return and it will be business as usual.
Soft Paws wants the Store and the Staff know how much their gesture means to us and the safety of the cats in our care.

As posted we are revamping our volunteer program hoping to Create an new system that will acknowledge our volunteers, what they do and how they can make Soft Paws run smoother without putting all the everyday working on a few. Once an application is filled in, returned, and approved the volunteer will be invited to join the Private Volunteer only group. This is where non urgent request for help will be posted an hopefully filled. Urgent or time sensitive help the volunteers will be contacted directly to see if they are able to help right away. Is it the perfect system, no but hopefully it will be the start of a current system and will be built upon as we get volunteers on board and a Volunteer co-ordinator to keep it updated.
Message for an application or pick up the link, please fill it out and return it via the page messenger or email. Everyone has the skills and you will always have back up. Most jobs do not take a lot of time nor are needed regularly. You are not committed to always saying "yes I can help" but it is hoping that you will be able to occasionally.

We love getting updates and pictures of cats that have been adopted through our program.
Buddy and Holly were adopted through Bosleys in Quesnel as young juveniles. A little on the shy side but bonded. Adopted together into a wonderful family they have thrived into these beautiful well loved cats.
