RIVEN UPDATE!

Our favorite defiant friend has been spotted again in town around her usual haunt on 15th ave. Shes doing well. Still strutting like she owns the world. Some people at the McDonalds drive through have been tossing her treats, and now she shows up demanding homage.

Remember, if you spot her, please get pictures and message us with the update. With winter approaching, it's important we keep a close eye on her health.

All hail Riven, first of her name, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the first Crows. Long may she live.

Clever girl

Ripley has been working on deciphering how this puzzle box works. I think she's cracked the code at last. I'm going to have to find a new challenge for her. Corvids are incredibly curious and clever all round, so in order to keep them entertained I have to offer toys and new challenges constantly.

*Cue Motley Crues "Same old Situation"

Another Crow with drug injestion. This is the second one from Canada Games Place.
For whatever the reason, well over half of these cases happen in the morning.
He perked right up with treatment and we hope for release tomorrow.

Also, sorry the page has been quiet. Mandy and I have been very busy with work, life, prepping the rescue for winter and getting ready for our big fundraiser next week.

On the same day we sent the eagle to Orphaned Wildlife for care, we sent this Barred owl as well. They went for care together, and came back home together. This flying blender was eager to be released! 🦉
