PGMCA Townhall Meeting

You are invited to join us this weekend for an All Candidates Forum ahead of the PGMCA AGM as well as a panel discussion with the PGMCA Board of Directors.

When: Sunday, October 18, 2026 | 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Where: AiMHi PG Gymnasium (950 Kerry Street, PG)

This will be a drop-in style event. All community members are welcome.

As we gather with our loved ones on this Nanâskom Okîsikâw (Thanksgiving Day), we take time to share our nanâskomôwin (gratitude) for the land, our culture, and our community.

Today, we honor our nîtisânak (family), our Elders, and our niwîcîwâkanak (friends) who keep our heritage alive. We hold close the traditional values of sharing, kinship, and caring for one another that make our community so strong.

Nimiyohtîn Nanâskom Okîsikâw (We are happy on this day of Thanksgiving), and we wish you and your loved ones a season filled with warmth, full tables, and good health.

The Prince George Métis Community Association invites all members to attend our 2026 Annual General Meeting. This is an important opportunity to participate in community governance, hear updates, and elect our leadership for the coming term.

October 1: Nomination packages available — contact the office at (236) 423 3455 to arrange pickup.

October 15 at 5:00 PM: Deadline to submit complete nomination packages and any resolutions for the Constitution & Bylaws (email to [email protected]).

October 16: Announcement of successful candidates.

Townhall (Date TBD): All Candidates Forum for community members to meet nominees and ask questions.

October 25 at 12:30 PM: Annual General Meeting

We are very blessed to be able to offer these experiences for our community. We hope to see you again tomorrow!
