The season finale is here 🎉

A super fun course and apres has been put together by , and will be hosting riders for après as we say goodbye to the 2026 Fiver season.

Upcoming Fiver Details — You know the deal:

👉 Sign in: 5:30PM at Mackenzie FSR Small Parking Lot
👉 Race Starts: 6:00 PM
👉 Course: Up Happy, Shama, Waco, Nimby to Bob Gnarly and Lower Mac (Trailforks map coming soon)

- Registration opens at 6 PM tonight and closes at midnight the night before. No day-of registration is available; all participants must be pre-registered to attend.
- Fivers have a waitlist system this year, you will be notified by email if a spot opens. First come first serve basis for the waitlist.
- Fivers are for all levels and riders. Please look at the trail route prior to the race (on our events calendar). We will have a chiller pace led crew on each ride! See us at sign in to meet the leader if you wish to join.
- E-bikes welcome! First come first serve, up to 10 riders on E-bikes. Thank you for understanding! Riders on e-bikes will take off in the first wave before acoustic bikes.

We know many residents have been looking forward to returning to One Mile Lake Park. While this is welcome news, this is a partial reopening only. The main parking lot and beach area, One Mile Lake loop trail, dog beach area, and access trails to Underhill Park will reopen.

⚠️ 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 (𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐤𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐞𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚) 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 due to ongoing BC Wildfire Service operations and wildfire-related hazards, including danger trees, unstable terrain, and rockfall hazards. Please refer to the map below for detailed trail closures.

Please respect all posted signage, fencing, flagging, and roped-off areas. These closures remain in place for your safety and to allow BC Wildfire Service crews to continue working in the area.

Continued public access to reopened areas depends on visitors respecting closures and staying out of restricted areas. Entering closed areas creates safety risks and may result in additional restrictions being required to support public safety and ongoing operations.

As we welcome the public back to portions of One Mile Lake Park, we would like to thank BC Wildfire Service crews, emergency responders, Village staff, and partner agencies for their dedication and hard work throughout this response.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to residents for their patience, understanding, and respect for public safety measures. Your cooperation has helped protect both the community and the responders working in the area.

Update July 30, 2026: Portions of One Mile Lake Park have now reopened to the public (including the beach, dog park and lakeside trail). Please respect the remaining closures on Signal Hill including the hiking/biking trails and Nairn Falls connector trail.

One Mile Lake Park remains closed. Please respect the BC Wildfire evacuation order and closure to allow the crews to continue safe access to the area and for your safety. This closure includes all access points around the lake and into the trails on Signal Hill.
