A huge thank you to The B**r Farmers for donating pumpkins for our Fall Harvest Festival. 💚 We’ll be selling them by donation, with all proceeds supporting Stewardship Pemberton Society’s work in local food security, community agriculture and environmental stewardship.

🌿 Good news for environmental education in Pemberton!

We’re excited to share that Stewardship Pemberton Society has received a $5,000 Community Board grant from TELUS Friendly Future Foundation to support our Environmental Education Program!

This funding will help us provide hands-on environmental learning opportunities for local youth, connecting them with the watersheds, wildlife and ecosystems right here in the Pemberton Valley.

Through this program and community events, young people can explore nature, learn how to monitor environmental health, and build the knowledge and confidence to become the next generation of environmental stewards. 🌱

Thank you to TELUS and TELUS Friendly Future Foundation for investing in local youth and helping us create more opportunities to learn, explore and care for the places we call home.

Stock up on veggies and support our school garden programs!🥕💚

We had a record harvest in our school gardens, and have extra food to share with our community. Students work in the garden from seed to harvest, learning about sustainable food systems and community food security.

Each harvest box and garlic bundle purchased directly supports these programs to keep growing food by, and for youth. Thank you for supporting our work!

Got a favourite pair of pants with a hole, a wobbly chair, broken bike, or something at home that needs a little love? Bring it to our Repair Café!

Learn from community members and bring your items in need of mending to the Pemberton Community Centre on Sunday, October 25th, from 10 AM–2 PM. Connect with community volunteers, learn new skills, and give your well-loved items a second life. Together, we can keep useful things out of the landfill, reduce waste, and build a more sustainable community.

The work carried out in the Repair Café is performed free of charge on a voluntary basis by the repair experts at hand. We can’t guarantee every item can be fixed, but we’ll do our best to help. To cut down on unnecessary waiting times during busy periods, a maximum of ONE broken item per person will be examined at a time. The visitor will join the back of the queue if there is a second item for repair.
