Happy Saturday Friends!👋

This is a reminder that today is another Donation Day and our staff and volunteers are eager to meet you. Donation Day is from 10:30AM-11:00AM on Saturday mornings at 203 Bathurst St London (City Centre Storage). Consider stopping by and helping us fill our outreach vehicles for the week! 😀

Here is Lou’s List of most needed items this week:
- Non-Perishable Snack items
- Juice boxes
- Tarps
- Sleeping Bags
- Blankets
- Dog food
- Cat food
- Brand new underwear, all gender, all sizes
- Adult sized clothing (Small Sizes)
- Large bottles of lotion
- Cases of water
- Backpacks
- Deodorant

Gentle reminder: we operate from a shared storage facility. It is important to never leave donations at door ways or outside. It is extremely important to always hand off your donation to a volunteer to ensure we get it. It is also important to note that using the door system to call the office does not connect you to our organization and the office is not always up to date with our operations. Our outreach teams are supporting friends facing homelessness and extreme poverty every week. These are the items we need most to keep our outreach vehicles and care packages stocked.

* Granola bars
* Protein bars
* Fruit cups
* Applesauce cups/pouches
* Pudding cups
* Crackers
* Cookies
* Chips
* Rice Krispie treats
* Individually wrapped muffins
* Fruit snacks
* Trail mix
* Bottled water
* Electrolyte drinks

Please choose individually wrapped, non-perishable items whenever possible.

Happy Thursday Friends! 👋

🍎 SNACKS NEEDED! 🧃

Sometimes friendship looks like a conversation. Sometimes it looks like checking in, remembering someone’s name, or simply showing up.

And sometimes, friendship looks like a snack package. ❤️

Each week, our 519Pursuit team is currently preparing and distributing 200+ snack packages to support friends facing homelessness and extreme poverty in our community.

That’s more than 200 packages every single week — and right now, we need your help keeping them filled.

Our snack packages are made possible through community donations and fundraised dollars, and with the number of packages going out each week, snacks are one of our BIGGEST ongoing needs.

🧃 HOW YOU CAN HELP:

🥨 Donate non-perishable, individually wrapped snacks
🧃 Donate juice boxes or individual drinks
📦 Host a Snack Drive at your workplace, school, team, neighbourhood or community group
🛒 Add an extra box of snacks to your grocery or Costco trip
❤️ Make a financial donation through CanadaHelps to help us purchase snacks when supplies run low

Granola bars, crackers, fruit snacks, cookies, chips, pudding or fruit cups, protein snacks, juice boxes and other individually packaged items can quickly go from your hands → into a snack package → directly into the hands of a friend in our community.

Happy Wednesday Friends! 👋

Last night was about celebrating the people who make 519Pursuit possible. 🩵

Our staff and volunteers show up each and every day — and not just on the good days. They show up on the hard days, the busy days, the really hot days and the really cold ones. They show up when the need feels bigger than our capacity, and somehow, together, we continue to find a way.

To every member of our team: thank you.

Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for the compassion, lived experience, skills, energy and heart you bring to 519Pursuit. Thank you for continuing to build our capacity to show up for friends facing homelessness and extreme poverty across London.

What we do has always been rooted in friendship — and that friendship starts within our own team. 🫶

We also want to recognize the incredible community partners, donors and supporters who stand alongside us. Your partnerships make this work possible, strengthen our mission and help ensure our teams can continue showing up where and when our friends need us most.

And a HUGE thank you to Boler Mountain for opening your doors to our team last night! From an absolutely delicious meal to plenty of laughs, connection and some serious fun on the Big Zip — you gave our staff and volunteers an opportunity to step away from outreach for an evening and simply enjoy being together.

Because the people who spend their days caring for community deserve moments where community cares for them, too. 🩵

We are incredibly grateful for this team, for this community and for every person who continues to believe in the work of 519Pursuit.

We'll be serving up some refreshing lemonade during our Community Garage Sale this Saturday, August 22! Come browse the sales, find some treasures, and grab a cold drink while you're here.

All proceeds from the Lemonade Stand will support programs and services at Crouch Neighbourhood Resource Centre! 🩵
