Seniors Gathering Place - SGP

Seniors Gathering Place (SGP) is a volunteer organisation facilitating seniors (55 and over) every Tuesday from 9am-12pm at covent garden market of London, Ontario to meet, greet and play with their companions. There is no entry fee or registration. Seniors can just come and join our community at any time between 9am and 12pm of every Tuesday. Every first Tuesday of the month is a birthday bingo d

uring which SGP celebrates birthdays of Seniors who have their birthdays during that month. There is cake cutting during that day. Every third Tuesday is an information Tuesday. We invite guest speakers to give valuable information to seniors. We provide free coffee, tea, cookies (both Sugar and Sugar free) and a variety of refreshing beverages every Tuesday. Seniors also play cards, scrabble and a variety of other games. All the services provided by SGP are free of cost. We are very proud to say that we are supported by "Senior Home care by Angels". We have 35-40 seniors that attend SGP regularly. We also have very energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to serve seniors at their best. We welcome and encourage new seniors to join our community and get to know their peers while enjoying our hospitality.
