Youth in Transition and Housing Program:

The Youth Transition and Housing Program provides a variety of support services to youth aged 16-24 who are currently involved with or are transitioning from child welfare. The program has been developed in response to advocacy by young people who have left the care of child welfare and who have faced challenges sourcing services and programs independently

. Youth Peer Support Program:

The Youth Peer Support Program aims to provide young people ages 16-24 in the KFL&A Region with free social, emotional, and practical support, through both skills-building workshops and peer support services delivered by other young people in the community. The program matches Youth Peer Support Workers with lived experience of homelessness, substance use/misuse, mental health, and recovery to other youth currently facing these challenges. Youth Peer Support Workers draw from their own lived experience to help other youth take the path toward recovery that is best for them.

Today, our team is wearing blue jean jackets for Blue Jean Jacket Day.

Observed annually on June 6, Blue Jean Jacket Day is a national day of awareness dedicated to Missing, Murdered, and Exploited Indigenous Men and Boys (MMIEIMB).

Launched in 2023, it stands as an important counterpart to Red Dress Day, helping ensure that Indigenous men and boys who are missing or have been murdered are not forgotten.

This day is a reminder of the urgent need for awareness, accountability, and action, and for continued support for Indigenous families and communities who are grieving and seeking justice.

What a great day at the 18th Kingston & Frontenac Community Services Fair!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Resolve Counselling booth to chat with our team, ask questions, and learn more about how we support mental health and wellbeing in our community.

Events like this are a powerful reminder of the strength and collaboration that exists across our region, and how important it is to stay connected. We’re grateful to be part of it. 💛
