Accessible and inclusive housing should not be an afterthought. It should be part of how we plan, design and build our communities from the very beginning.

At Unique Get Together Society, our vision of equitable housing includes people of all ages and abilities. It means creating homes and communities where older adults can age with dignity, people with disabilities can live with greater independence, families can thrive, and everyone has the opportunity to participate and belong.

Because housing is about more than affordability.

Now Registering New Seniors for September! 🍂

Are you looking for a welcoming place to meet new people, enjoy healthy meals, learn simple recipes, and build meaningful friendships?

The UGTS Seniors Community Kitchen & Lunch Program is returning this September, and we are now welcoming new seniors to register.

In accordance with our funding agreement, new seniors will receive priority registration. Returning participants may be contacted if space becomes available.

💚 What an incredible season it has been!
As we wrap up another successful session of our Seniors Right to Food Program, our hearts are filled with gratitude. This program has become so much more than preparing healthy meal’s it has been a place where friendships were built, laughter was shared, and our community came together around the table.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to Kamloops Alliance Church for generously opening your doors and supporting this program. Your partnership has made a meaningful difference in the lives of the seniors we serve.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to the Right to Food Foundation for believing in our vision and making this program possible. And to our amazing seniors thank you for showing up with open hearts, cooking together, supporting one another, and creating such a welcoming community.
We can’t wait to see everyone back in September! 💚🍽️
