We were honoured to have Andrew join us for a special behind the scenes tour and to honour his late father. Bill Abley was one of the original six volunteers that worked tirelessly to get the restoration of #2141 from Riverside back to the rails in 1994. Thanks to all our past volunteers and their families for keeping the steam dream alive 🚂

🔥🚂WE DID IT! 🚂🔥

Today, we hit another incredible milestone at Kamloops Heritage Railway- we lit a fire in #2141 Spirit of Kamloops locomotive for the first time in almost SEVEN years!

Many said it would never happen……
but we believed, we worked hard and we did it!

The fire is back and the journey continues. 🔥🚂
