Join us the first Tuesday of every month for a traditional meal of Torsk (Cod), good fellowship, and a shot of aquavit. Contact us for more details.

The idea of forming a "Torskeklubb" was brought to Edmonton by Sig Sorenson in 1969 after he attended the Minneapolis Torskeklubben. The first meeting of Torskeklubben of Edmonton was held on February 3rd 1970, with Dr Chester Ronning as the guest speaker. The first Bas or Boss was Harve Haugen. The first secretary was Grand Erickson, and Inge Anderson was the treasurer. Torskeklubben Rules:
1 - Support the programs of Torskeklubben & the Sons of Norway
2 - Be prepared to tell a good joke when called upon by the Bas
3 - Keep up attendance at regular Meetings

We had a couple cancelations for our casino this weekend. We really need a chip runner for the morning shift on Saturday. We could also use a couple on call helpers in case anyone else cancels. If you can help, we would really appreciate it.

Our AGM is coming up on Tuesday, October 20. Dania is over 100 years old! We really need a few new recruits to our board so that we can keep the club going for years to come. We would love your ideas to continue sharing Danish culture with the Edmonton community.
