Get ready to move your vehicle this week! McKernan is scheduled for street sweeping Mon May 11 to Fri May 15 from 7am to 7pm, as crews spray and clean winter debris from residential roads.
A parking ban is in effect and you can avoid a ticket and help by moving your vehicle.

Get ready to move your vehicle next week! McKernan is scheduled for street sweeping Mon May 11 to Fri May 15.

A parking ban is in effect and you can avoid a ticket and help by moving your vehicle when you see ‘no parking’ signs posted.

Street sweeping crews are active in residential neighbourhoods on weekdays from 7am to 7pm, spraying and cleaning winter debris residential roads.

Expect crews to be active for up to five days in each neighbourhood.

Our next fundraising casino will be Sun. May 31 and Mon. June 1, 2026 at the PURE Casino Edmonton (7055 Argyll Rd.).
Day and evening shifts are available, and the work is fun and easy alongside your neighbours. Meals are provided, and transportation or babysitting expenses can be covered.

Meet for breakfast outside McKernan Community Center on Saturday May 2 at 10am, and bring a plate and cutlery to reduce waste.

When everyone's finished eating we'll distribute cleanup equipment, break up into teams, and assign zones for cleaning within the community.

The snow is melting and leaving the winter's trash strewn all over our community. Do your part to keep our neighborhood clean and tidy this spring, and enjoy a free pancake breakfast to fuel your efforts!
