The Edmonton Association of the Deaf is excited to help promote Edmonton's largest Father's Day Car Show!

When: Sunday, June 21 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Where: Celebration Church at 7215 Argyll Rd NW, Edmonton

The Edmonton Association of the Deaf is still looking for volunteers and backup volunteers for our upcoming casino fundraiser at Yellowhead Casino on August 29 and 30, 2026.

• August 29 (Night Shift)
• 6:45 PM to 3:15 AM

We also need:
Backup Volunteers
• August 29 (Day Shift) – 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• August 29 (Night Shift) – 6:30 PM to 3:45 AM

• August 30 (Night Shift) – 6:30 PM to 3:45 AM

Casino fundraisers are one of EAD's most important sources of funding and help support programs, events, advocacy, accessibility initiatives, and community activities throughout the year.

No experience is necessary. Training is provided, and volunteers receive a free meal during their shift.

🌞 WE'RE HIRING – EAD SUMMER PROGRAM COORDINATOR 🌞

The Edmonton Association of the Deaf (EAD) is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as the Summer Program Coordinator for Summer 2026.

This role will help coordinate youth and community activities, assist with summer events, support volunteers, promote programs through social media, and help create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive experience for participants.

Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating youth and community activities
• Assisting with registrations and participant communication
• Supporting volunteers and staff
• Coordinating transportation and logistics
• Preparing activity materials and supplies
• Assisting with camp preparation and summer events
• Promoting activities through social media and community outreach
• Maintaining attendance records and activity reports
• Supporting a safe and welcoming environment for participants

Location: Edmonton, Alberta & Pigeon Lake, AB
Contract Period:
June – September 2026

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating EAD’s 75th Anniversary. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our history, recognize our community, and celebrate 75 years of Deaf leadership, culture, and advocacy.
