Today, we’re celebrating International Youth Day by recognizing the strength, potential, and resilience of young people in our community. 💛

To mark the occasion, we’re proud to donate $250 to Edmonton’s Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre, an organization that supports children and youth who have experienced abuse.

Working alongside specialized community partners, Zebra provides a welcoming, child-friendly environment and helps young people and their caregivers through the investigative, judicial, and healing process.

Young people deserve to feel safe, to have their voices heard, and to look toward the future with hope.

We’re grateful to support an organization helping make that possible.

🚨 Meet the Judges 🚨

The JCI Edmonton Creative Youth Entrepreneur Competition is bringing together an incredible panel of leaders from Edmonton’s startup, innovation, and business community. Their experience spans founder support, investment, innovation, and small business, giving participants the opportunity to receive meaningful feedback from those who help entrepreneurs succeed every day.

Ali Sidki

Founder Success Operations Lead, Edmonton Unlimited

Ali works directly with early-stage founders, helping them build strong business foundations through coaching, programming, and access to Edmonton Unlimited’s network of experts and resources. With over a decade of experience in investment management, private sector development, and executive leadership, he has supported entrepreneurs and innovation ecosystems across multiple regions.

Chelsea Fearon

Business Advisor, ATB Financial

With 19 years in banking, Chelsea is passionate about helping Alberta’s small businesses grow and succeed. Drawing on deep expertise in business banking and her own entrepreneurial upbringing, she partners with business owners to navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and build financially strong companies.

Anil Kumar Vinayak

PSI Engagement Lead, Edmonton Unlimited

Anil connects Edmonton’s post-secondary institutions with the city’s innovation ecosystem, helping student entrepreneurs turn ideas into ventures. He also fosters collaboration between researchers, founders, and industry while supporting commercialization opportunities. Beyond his role at Edmonton Unlimited, Anil is a circular economy researcher and co-founder of a digital health startup.
