Come support Burrows recipient, violinist Jacques Forestier, at the upcoming 2025 Summer Solstice Music Festival! Other concerts will feature Burrows Alumni: pianist Angela Cheng and violinist Gabrielle Després.

We're excited to be back at the Yardbird Suite for two concerts featuring our festival musicans.

On June 18th, hear the Tesla Quartet in this intimate venue. Then on June 19, experience a showcase featuring Michael Bridge, accordion; Jacques Forestier, violin; Ryan Davis, viola, and Alexander Hersh, cello.

In collaboration with the Music Faculty at the University of Alberta, ABMF held its first ever music scholarship competition at Convocation Hall today! From a total of 18 applicants, 7 finalists were selected to perform in the final round this afternoon. An adjudication panel from the Music Faculty awarded the top prize ($2,000) to Miranda Maher (soprano), second prize ($1,000) to Angelina Lee (piano), and third prize ($500) to Wiktoria Jurkiewicz (soprano). Congratulations to all the winners and finalists for their wonderful performances today!
