As we commemorate the Day of the Race, recognize Indigenous Peoples, and celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada, we are reminded of the importance of embracing diversity, acknowledging our shared history, and respecting the cultures and traditions that enrich our communities.
Let us continue finding ways to live together in harmony, caring for our planet and treating one another with respect, empathy, and solidarity. Together, we can build a more inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable world for future generations. 🌎🤝🍂🙏

At 7:00 p.m., we will attend the St. Albert Community Recognition Event, where our names, Jeannette’s and mine, are already part of the Time Is a River monument.

We receive this recognition with humility and gratitude. It means so much to us, but also reminds us of our responsibility to continue contributing and helping make our community a better place to live.

We are proud to announce that Jeannette and Jorge Vargas have been recognized for their contributions to St. Albert. This will take place on Sept. 3, during a private ceremony at the City’s Community Recognition Garden across from the Perron Street clock tower. Congratulations!
