Is in a PV Foster & Looking for a Loving FurEver Home

~ A LITTLE PUPPY, A BIG SECOND CHANCE
Giovanni and Rachael were sitting at a corner restaurant when they saw a puppy running back and forth at a busy junction, with no one in sight; they watch and hoped someone would come for her… but no one ever did. After an hour, it was clear she was alone, and she needed help. They brought her to safety and quickly realized she hadn’t been on the streets for long. She wasn’t severely underweight and had no visible injuries, but she had been neglected, covered in ticks and fleas, and left to fend for herself far too soon. She was taken to the vet for a check up and during her first months with them, the puppy faced a few health challenges, including a urinary tract infection and periods of low immunity that required treatment and regular vet visits. Through it all, she showed nothing but resilience, sweetness, and trust. Today she is healthy, safe, and full of life.

Yoda is about 1.5 years old, weighs around 20 kilos, and is a cute Belgian shepherd mix.

Today, Yoda is a fun, active girl with a sensitive side, which makes her special. She loves to play, explore, and stay busy, but she also forms deep bonds with her adult humans and becomes a truly devoted, affectionate companion. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or in busy environments, often taking a moment to observe and feel safe before opening up, but with patience and kindness, her sweet and loving personality shines through. Once she trusts you, she will stick close by your side and shower you with affection. Yoda has been socializing regularly with other dogs at daycare, where she does very well, although she prefers calm introductions and tends to observe before jumping into play. She has also lived with dogs and a cat, learning to coexist peacefully and respectfully. She is an energetic dog who thrives with daily exercise, walks, and space to run, but she also enjoys relaxing at home with her favorite toys and cuddling with her humans. She walks nicely on leash once she settles, though she may pull a bit at the start or when feeling overwhelmed, especially in crowded areas where she prefers quieter surroundings. Yoda is comfortable around everyday noises like fireworks and traffic, though she can be slightly sensitive to larger vehicles or storms, often taking cues from the dogs around her. She is curious and enjoys exploring off-leash in safe areas, always staying close and checking back in. She would do best in a calm, loving home with a patient adopter who understands her sensitive nature, ideally with access to a secure outdoor space where she can run and play. She could thrive as an only dog receiving undivided attention, or with calm, well-balanced companions.
Yoda’s adoption fee is $550 and includes her flight, spay, vaccinations, and full veterinary care until the flight time. If you’re ready to welcome Yoda into your family, apply here: https://form.jotform.com/250991010499258. For questions or more information, please email [email protected]

PupDate from Murphy's family !!!

"Murphy has been with us 6 years and he’s truly the best thing that’s ever happened. He is so smart and loving. Not to mention his stunning hair ! His favorite things are running fast and bed. He struggles with reactivity, so we were concerned last year when we brought home a 5 week old kitten whose mom had passed. However, Murphy was instantly in love with her. He had never seen anything so small and cute and his excitement was tangible. He took to his role as her dad so well.

Murphy has PREFERENCES. And he lets you know. He likes his food in a certain bowl in a specific place. He likes to be under the blankets in bed, between mom and dad. He will tell you if he needs you to roll over. He likes the other dogs to be quiet, and doesn’t put up with barking. Murphy has shown me (mom) what a soul dog is. Our other dogs are very loved, but Murphy is my soulmate and he doesn’t want to share. He will share, but you have to pay the Murphy tax first (lots of scratches and pets). He likes to be cuddling with me 24/7. Together is his favorite place. I like to say that we are together in holy Matrimurphy.

We are truly to fortunate to have such a precious boy! He could not be more loved )"

MexPup says: Thank you for adopting Murphy (formerly Nelly) and giving him the loving forever home he deserves. We’re incredibly grateful to your family for opening your hearts to him and making him part of your lives. See less

Please help Otto finally find the family he has been waiting so long for

Otto has spent far too much time hoping someone will choose him. Beneath his shy smile is a loving, loyal boy who just wants a place to belong. Once he feels safe, Otto gives his whole heart — with gentle cuddles, happy tail wags, and endless gratitude for every bit of love he receives.

He is playful, well-behaved, great on walks, loves people and other dogs, and dreams of having a family to call his own. Otto doesn’t deserve to keep growing up in a shelter while others pass him by.

Please open your heart to Otto, or help share his story so the right family can finally find him.

NEGRA
Is in a PV Foster & Looking for a Loving FurEver Home

~ FROM A CARDBOARD BOX TO A SECOND CHANCE
On the outskirts of Puerto Vallarta, a cardboard box was left on the street; inside were tiny puppies, only about 2 months old. Thrown away like they didn’t matter. But this little girl is here today because she does matter. She bravely managed to climb out of that box and was just moments away from being run over when kind neighbors stepped in to save her. They called for help and that’s when Nayeli showed up. Thankfully, some people simply refuse to look the other way. She and her siblings were rescued just in time. They were weak, underweight, and covered in ticks and fleas… but they were fighters. After receiving veterinary care and tests that thankfully came back negative for the worst diseases, they began their journey toward healing and a better life. Because every life is worth saving, and every puppy deserves a chance. Negra was one of those puppies.

Negra is about 3.5 years old, weighs around 19.5 kilos, and is a beautiful mixed breed.

Negra has transformed into the happy, loving pup she was always meant to be. She is playful, resilient, and full of love despite everything she has been through. She is on the lower-energy side, making her a wonderful match for a calm, loving home. A nice daily walk is all she needs to stay happy and healthy. She may be a little shy when she first meets new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality truly shines. She gets along beautifully with adults, teenagers, and children, and she is social when visitors come to the shelter. Negra also does great with other dogs; she happily shares her toys, her favorite sleeping spots, and even her space during mealtime without any issues. She enjoys car rides and would love to be your little adventure buddy, and she walks nicely on a leash. When she sees other dogs on walks, she simply observes and keeps going, showing her calm and balanced nature. Negra is the kind of dog who will quietly fill your home with love, loyalty, and gentle companionship. She has already proven how strong and forgiving she is. Now she just needs someone who will never abandon her again because no dog should ever start life in a box…and every dog deserves a happy ending.

Negra’s adoption fee is $550, which includes her flight, spay, vaccinations, and full vetting. If you are ready to welcome Negra into your family, apply now at https://form.jotform.com/250991010499258 . For any questions or more information, feel free to email [email protected]

WE ARE ASKING FOR HELP WITH HEAVY HEARTS

We don’t usually ask for help but right now, we truly need it.
Huizapol, one of our foster dogs in BC, has already gone through over $3,000 in dental surgery to finally be free from pain. Just as he started recovering, we learned he may be losing vision in one eye. With a specialist appointment ahead, his care will likely reach $3,500.

At the same time, Olive, another dog in our care in BC is still waiting for a $3,000 knee surgery so she can walk, run, and live without constant pain.

We are doing everything we can, but we are stretched beyond our limits. If you can donate, even a small amount, it would mean everything. You can donate via PayPal by going to Mexpup.com and clicking “donate” at the bottom of the page or e-transfer to [email protected]

And if you can’t, sharing this could help us reach someone who can.

Thank you !!!

~ COURTESY POST ~

Félix is a medium-sized male of about 1.5 years old. Félix is a social, loving, and highly adaptable dog who fits in just as easily on a hike as he does lounging at home. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, and with people he is one of those souls who immediately seeks connection. He loves to run, play, and go on walks to explore, but he also knows how to appreciate quiet company indoors. He is attentive, a quick learner, and genuinely enjoys attention from the people around him — which makes him both easy to love and easy to live with.

He is already house-trained and has no issues doing his business outside. He also has experience being a close companion and a steady emotional support. Félix would thrive with an active family that fully integrates him into daily life. He would do best with regular outings, plenty of company, and lots of love — with or without other pets.

Health: Neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed. Full health protocol complete.

Location: Guadalajara, Mexico · Open to travel to other cities across Mexico.

For interested adopters, please reach out to us at: [email protected] / +52 55 2304 1065

Thanks again — we are so grateful for your help finding Félix his forever home!
