Only a few more Thursday Market Days at our farm on Beverly Street! Our market is on today until 3PM, and our highlights today are...

🍅 lasts of tomatoes and peppers
🧅 lots of squash and onions to stock up on
🌶 sale on jalapeños for jellies, candies and sauces!

It's been a great season this year, and we're looking forward to the last few farm market days with you all! 🍎

Join Lauren of Folklaur Herbals for an afternoon of tea, plants & conversation at Cowichan Green Community.

Tea Circle is a monthly gathering for anyone curious about herbalism and wanting to spend a little more time getting to know the plants around us. Each month, Lauren brings one herb to the table, weaving together herbal knowledge, botany, folklore & traditional uses, with plenty of space for questions, sharing & curiosity.

October’s herb is a surprise — you’ll have to join us to find out what we’re exploring!

We got another highlight at today's market: Fresh apple juice from our FruitSave program, pressed from West Coast Pressed! 🍏🍎 A fabulous addition to add to this weekend's festivities with friends, family and loved ones 🥂

If you don't know already, West Coast Pressed (formerly McBarleys) presses some of the tastiest apple juice; all local and freshly pressed. It's been amazing to work alongside them with our fruit gleaning program, FruitSave 💛

Our Thursday farm market is on again today 10AM - 3PM at our farm on Beverly Street, and we'll have some juice here alongside other fall favourites 🍂

We have a big variety of squash, sweet pumpkins for pie, and of course the usual salad greens, peppers, tomatoes, etcetera! Just pop by tomorrow 10AM - 3PM to our farm on Beverly Street and see what FALLS into your basket 😏🍂

A HUGE thank you to Cloverdale Paint - Duncan for donating the paint for our new mural at KinPark Youth Urban Farm! 🎨🌸

Our youth staff and volunteers had an absolute blast bringing this piece to life - painting together, sharing stories, and bopping to music 🎶

Beyond adding vibrant color to the building, this mural serves as a reminder of how deeply our community supports creating dedicated space for youth to learn, grow, and thrive 🌱✨

What a wonderful day at Harvest Table - A taste of Vancouver Island! 🌾✨

We are so grateful to have had a booth at this year’s event and for the opportunity to connect with everyone who stopped by to chat with us about our programs and community initiatives.

A huge thank you to the organizers, local farmers, chefs, and suppliers who brought this incredible gathering to life. Food truly brings people together, and building community relationships is the heart of what we do! 💚

Looking forward to continuing these connections and seeing what’s ahead for Harvest Table 2027! 🌱
