Halloweenie Everyone,

Our Halloween Pub Crawl was a success, with 25 people joining us for a great night!

We had an amazing variety of costumes, plenty of laughs, and good memories along the way.

A few highlights from the night:

* First stop: A great opportunity to socialize, catch up, and get the evening started.

* Second stop: Our first VIP experience, with supper, a warm atmosphere, and some nice and vibe live guitar music.

* Third stop: A little adventure going back and forth at the front door (haha), but we made it in and enjoyed the free admission!

* Fourth stop: We wrapped up the night with great music, dancing, and a lively atmosphere in the VIP area. A perfect way to finish the evening!

A big thank-you to Kirby’s Shop for creating such a beautiful pin. It’s definitely one of our favourite pins yet!

A special thank-you to Tammy for the surprise big sign at the end of the night. It was a thoughtful touch and the perfect way to close out the event.

And, of course, thank you to all the managers and staff who worked with NSign Dream and helped make the evening a success. We truly appreciate your support and hospitality.

Looking forward to next year. Until then, Happy Halloween, everyone!

On September 26, 2026, Chrissy, Andres, and I had an amazing opportunity to be part of the first Atlantic SignFest Expo! 🤟💙

We had the chance to meet so many wonderful people and share information about NBDHHS, who we are, and the services we provide.

It was an amazing experience being able to share information, learn new things, and connect with other organizations and people from the Deaf community.

We are so grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who stopped by to meet and chat with us. We had a wonderful time! 🤟✨

As part of Deaf Awareness Month, APSEA was pleased to take part in the Atlantic Signfest Expo in Dartmouth on Saturday, September 26.

The event drew a great turnout and offered many opportunities to connect with members of the Deaf community. APSEA team members Rebecca Cyr, Sherri Stevens, Brian Foran and Melina Kennedy, along with Melina’s daughter Abigail, enjoyed representing APSEA and being part of the day.
