⭐️ We can’t believe it’s already been a week since the 2025 Merritts! ⭐️
Last Monday was full of so much excellence, laughter, and joy, and we are thrilled to be sharing that HomeFirst Theatre and “The Mountain and the Valley” took home 2 Merritt Awards on Monday night - Outstanding New Nova Scotia Adaptation for Catherine Banks’ new Ernest Buckler adaptation, and Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role for Mary Fay Coady’s portrayal of Martha!
On top of all of this excitement, our dear friends Two Planks and a Passion, with whom we co-produced “The Mountain and the Valley” took home an award for “Original Score and Composition” for Allen Cole and Ken Schwartz’s work on “Chased by the Bear” which ran in rep with “MATV” last summer.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to the entire “MATV” team and Two Planks and a Passion, and send a hearty congratulations to all of the Merritt Winners and nominees this year. We are looking forward to the future, so stay tuned for future updates from HomeFirst!
