The Village on Main is a Community Improvement District of approximately one km in radius. It covers the Lakecrest-Tacoma-Main Street area and has over 160 businesses with over 40 health & wellness facilities and other shops and services. We have an elementary, junior high, high school and college within walking distance as well as a community center and 6 churches. We have form-based-coding allowing each property in our district to be developed for medium density and mixed-use. Our goal is to be a welcoming community where people of all ages and abilities feel they belong. Join Country 103.5 & Surge Halifax tomorrow, Thursday October 29th, from 6am to 6pm for the Annual Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation Radiothon as they broadcast live from the hospital for 12 hours to raise crucial funds to help keep Dartmouth General leading the way with healthcare innovation.

This year’s Radiothon will help purchase new cardiac and telemetry monitors for Dartmouth General’s Emergency Department – equipping the healthcare team with vital information to monitor patients’ heart rate and rhythm, as well as other vital signs.

Tune in and let’s come together as a community to keep Dartmouth General leading the way in healthcare innovation.

The monthly Dartmouth Kin Club’s Community Brunch is this Sunday, October 25.
Brunch will be prepared and served by the amazing Kin Family from 9:30AM to 12:30PM at the East Dartmouth Community Centre, 50 Caledonia Road.

Enjoy a meal with family, friends and neighbours.
Cost: $12/adult, $5/child 12 and younger and $15/Big K “super breakfast”.
