Support Services Group Cooperative

Support Services Group Cooperative Independence through cooperation! We now have members living in the Halifax area, the Annapolis Valley, and in Bridgewater.

SSG was established in August 1991 as a cooperative of families who had a vision of their children living in their communities. The cooperative was organized to serve and advocate for persons with a disability and to provide the supports necessary for them to live in the community while maintaining personal choice and control.

SSG was proud to attend the Provincial Announcement regarding Home Share today, as one of the Coordinating Agencies for HomeShare in Nova Scotia.

We're excited to announce that the Friendship Centre reopened its doors today to SSG members and the community in the Valley region!

Every Tuesday, 10am-12pm, come together with us at the Coldbrook Community Hall and be part of something special.
Our SSG coordinators are set to bring the energy with fun activities, snacks, and a supportive environment.
Learn, share, and build lasting bonds.
If one-on-one support is required, kindly bring a support person along.
