The Community Living Cambridge of today sprang from humble beginnings in 1954 led by a group of concerned parents in the Galt, Hespeler, and Preston area (now Cambridge). Since then, the agency has grown from a small school and a handful of children to a thriving agency providing a wide range of individualized services to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities.

Today we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

We take time to listen, learn and reflect. 🧡

We made the most of every minute this summer! ☀️

Inclusion Supports took us all over the place, from a boat ride right up to Niagara Falls to an evening cheering on our knight at Medieval Times. He didn’t win, but at least we picked the good guy! We made it to two Blue Jays games and watched them win both times. ⚾

There was plenty of music, too. Sister Act and Mamma Mia had us singing along, and Elvis was such a favourite that we went to see him four times, including shows in Ohsweken and Niagara Falls! 🎤

These pics show some of the places we went and the fun we had together. Thank you to everyone who helped make it all happen. We packed a lot into one summer! 💙

Please join us in congratulating Tommy Benoit on receiving the Cambridge Food Bank’s 2026 Abel Anderson Good Person Award! 🎉

Tommy has volunteered with the Food Bank for many years through our Community Networks program. Three days a week, he helps sort and package bread, keeps the kitchen ready for the next day, and welcomes and trains new volunteers.

Tommy, this recognition is so well deserved. Congratulations, and thank you for all you do for our community! 💚

The Franklin Centre held its summer picnic today! ☀️ A great afternoon outside with lots of games, activities and time to catch up and enjoy the summer weather.

Fall programs are coming to the Franklin Centre! 🍂

Our Fall 2026 Session will run from Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, December 18, with 15 weeks of morning, afternoon, and evening supported programs.

Take a look through the schedule and check out some of our exciting new programs, including Career Day, Axon Music Therapy, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Celebrate the Canadian Artist Concert Series, and Keeping it Reel.

Programs will be open for viewing on My Community Hub on Friday, July 17 at 11:00 AM.

Registration opens Monday, July 20 at 11:00 AM.

A big community milestone worth celebrating.

In the past year, Cambridge Bingo & Gaming has raised $2.7 million in support of 100 local charities and service groups.

That funding makes a real difference across Cambridge, helping local organizations continue the work they do every day to support people, programs, and community initiatives.

As we recognize Provincial Bingo Week, we also want to recognize the players, volunteers, staff, and community partners who help make this impact possible.

From June 22–27, 2026, we’re recognizing Provincial Bingo Week and the positive impact charitable gaming has across Ontario. When you play, local charities win, and those funds help support programs, services, and opportunities right here in our community.
