Each year since my daughter was born, we have been apart of making a child somewhere in the world smile at Christmas! It has warmed my heart knowing that we are making a small difference in a child's life, not only by the gifts that we put into the shoebox, but to give them the gift of faith. Watching my daughter pack the box each year I haven't had the chance to watch her do it now for a couple of years but I still keep it going every year.. And now this year I have decided to see if I can get 23 other shoeboxs filled.
So I'm asking anyone that wants to help bring a smile to a young child's face this Christmas to help fill a shoebox.
If your interested in helping this amazing organization all that is asked of you is:
○Meet with me to get your shoebox
○ at that time let me know what gender and age you are going to make the box geared towards
○go shopping ( all items have to be unwrapped and new )
items can be anything
-socks
-markers/craft items
-hygiene products etc
○ they ask for a $10 donation be placed in the box to cover cost to get it yo ots destination or you can donate it right to them online
○have the box filled before the mid November
○meet with me 1 more time before mid November and I will take them all to the drop off location in kitchener
That's it !
Please help me bring the spirit of Christmas to a young child this year!!
