✨ POV: You attended one of our camps this summer... ✨

Today is officially the last day of summer camp for 2026 and we are sad to say goodbye. The summer has been full of amazing themes, incredible special guests, awesome field trips, and was made extra special by the wonderful mix of campers, leaders, and staff who joined us and supported our programming. Whether your child(ren) attended one week, all eight weeks, or a mix, we are truly grateful.

Stay tuned next week as we share our final posts celebrating everything we did in week 8 to wrap up our summer of fun.

We really cannot believe that we are already on day two of our last week of camp today. While we're soaking up our last few days of fun at camp, here is a look back at what we got up to last week.

Our camps had so much fun Week 7, especially on our field trip to Bingemans. Nothing beats having fun in the water on a hot and sunny day. ☀️ The creativity on dress up day was crazy! So many cool and creative costumes. 🧟👑

Today is National Nonprofit Day, a day dedicated to honouring the impact of charitable organizations, volunteers, and donors. 🫶

We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone whose ongoing support makes the work that we do possible. The impact we make in our community relies on the contributions of our staff, volunteers (including our Board of Directors), and donors in all forms. From all of us here at Greenway, thank you.

As glimpsed in our Week 6 recap, our special guest last week was none other than Stemotics Canada!

With the guidance of Stemotics, our camps got the chance to build their own race cars. 🚘 They learned from the beginning starting with building motion-censored windmills that they could even program to change colour and make sounds! Once they had their finished cars, everyone was eager to have a race!! 🏁

What a fun time had at Week 5 of summer camp!

All 3 camp locations enjoyed all the activities that were planned to explore our Under The Sea theme! We loved having Stemotics Cambridge visit us this week and teach the campers how to build and program their own mini cars!🚘Everyone had the chance to race each other, too! 😎

We ended the week with a last day carnival at Tait! So many fun stations and prizes were available. Best part? Campers got to silly string the leaders!!
