VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHTS: Jenny MacNeil ⭐️

Jenny has been volunteering at CMH for over 3 years as both an ambassador and also a part of the Hospital Elder Life Program. What motivates her the most around the hospital is helping our visitors and patients and being able to see them in ease. Throughout her years of service, she’s learned that volunteering shows us how many people are in need and that we can support them with a small gesture and make a difference during challenging times.

On a typical day for Jenny, she sees patients in the HELP program who are 60+ and helps them exercise and do activities with them. Other days she is an ambassador at the information desk where she greets visitors, answers questions, and escorts people including wheeling or walking them down.

Recently, we had the pleasure of celebrating Gloria and her remarkable 33 years of dedication to CMHVA. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the CMHVA Board for organizing such a special event. It was wonderful to see volunteers, family, and staff come together to share memories and celebrate Gloria’s impact over the years. Wishing Gloria all the best as she enjoys the golf course and her exciting next chapter! ⛳️💙
