Over the past decade, Don has been deeply involved in fundraising and grant initiatives that have helped shape WRCA into what it is today, including the $4M hall rebuild and more than $1M in additional community upgrades. From major projects like the LED sign and Olympia ice resurfacer (“Ollie”) to fun additions like festival lighting and the gaga ball pit, his contributions have left a lasting impact across the community. Don continues to be a practical, steady contributor and is proud to support the next generation of volunteers helping take WRCA to the next level. Thank you 💚

An extra thank you to the 96 Calgary Sparks for supplying our recent Mother's Day event with so much delicious baking. 🍰🍪 From Sparks (age 5) all the way up to Rangers (up to age 17), Girl Guides of Canada offers girls a welcoming, supportive, and fun place to learn, grow, and build lifelong friendships.

Cool News: WRCA has applied for an exchange student, but we need a host family in the area to run the program successfully. Host families would ideally have a 16/17yr old in the French program, who wants to travel and work in Quebec this summer.
